Kushi Iroha Review
Next up in the sex toy test is the Kushi by Iroha. Iroha is a brand created by women for women to dedicate female lust and redefine pleasure with unusual designs, luxurious materials, and simple functions.
This review is based on personal preferences, focusing on design, material processing, and function.
Unboxing Kushi
During my research of the most exclusive sex toys that I want to test and review, I naturally couldn’t get past the Kushi from Iroha. On the one hand, I was thrilled by the innovative design in the shape of a shell and, on the other hand, the material processing of super-soft silicone. I am a fan of high-quality silicone toys. There is no more sensual and exciting texture, so I was especially excited about Kushi’s lamellar structure and flexible tip.
Kushi is delivered in a compact, stylish package consisting of two boxes stacked on top of each other. The lower box contains a charging cable and an instruction manual in several languages. Open the top box, and there’s a bit of a wow effect as the vibrator is perched on a pedestal under a transparent dome. Very nicely done, Iroha; if you look at the packaging design alone, you can see the attention to detail with recurring color gradients inside and out.
The storage box also serves as a charging station with two magnetic poles on the adjustment buttons so Kushi won’t slip. Although I’m usually not a fan of bulky packaging, it doesn’t bother me at all with the Kushi. It gives you a nice storage option immediately without hiding it in a drawer. The unboxing positively surprised me. Iroha has come up with a practical concept here that is valuable, noble, and meaningful.
Design & Material
After unpacking, I was curious about the haptics, design, as well as material processing of the Kushi’s and got a mini-orgasm just by touching the lamellas and the bendable tip, which resembles a nipple. The silicone is ultra-soft, and the shape fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, so you can already imagine using and playing with the vibrator easily. In addition, the coating is dust repellent, a great advantage, especially with this elaborate design “top” – nothing sticks.
Another highlight I want to mention at this point and which has convinced me is the smell of the Kushi. It smells as good as I have rarely perceived in silicone, neutral with a hint of vanilla.
As for the design, I was impressed from the start. The shell shape is very aesthetic, and the cream color scheme reflects this authentically. However, the metallic buttons on the bottom for adjusting the vibrations somewhat destroy the overall look. I would have preferred a more minimalistic solution and, as always, an all-around silicone coating without ABS applications, even if the buttons also serve as a power source for the charging station.
Shape
Kushi fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, is lightweight with an organic shape; this allows you to hold it relaxed and guide the tip exactly where you want to feel it. In general, I find the design very erotic; I get aroused every time I roll Kushi back and forth between my hands. The soft vanilla note also triggers a lot in me. The tip can be bent in all directions, while underneath, you can feel the case for the motor, which of course, is not nearly as soft as the rest. In return, the lamellae pleasantly cushion this feeling, making you curious about multi-faceted sensations at the erogenous zones.
The buttons on the bottom, which I’ve already mentioned, bother me a bit, as the overall design loses aesthetic appeal. I also don’t find them that easy to use, which I noticed especially during the self-pleasure test. Furthermore, the logo directly above the buttons could have been omitted.
All in all, I am still convinced by Kushi’s shape and look. Since sex toys have to convince me above all visually and haptically, Iroha has made me happy with this design.
Self-Pleasure Test
For my first test, contrary to all expectations, I didn’t take Kushi into the tub but tried it out in bed, even though Iroha advertises the vibrator as waterproof. Somehow the design enticed me to observe, so I placed a mirror in front of me to watch myself masturbate with the Kushi.
You can choose between 5 vibration programs and 2 additional rhythms. I opted for the strongest level without rhythm, and I immediately noticed that Kushi is pleasantly quiet, even at the highest setting—extra points for that. I also like the shape, which feels natural in the hand, making it easy to use. However, I find the buttons a bit stiff, so choosing a pattern in advance is recommended. The advantage is that you don’t risk accidentally activating other settings or switching off the Kushi. By the way, I had to charge it for two hours before indulging in the Kushi experiment; a manageable time frame. In bed, I got back into the mood upon touching the super soft silicone texture and setting aside some water-based lube. I was curious about the vibrations, which feel particularly promising due to the elastic tip and the lamellas that rest gently in hand. The vibrations are powerful even at lower settings, but the highest setting is my favorite.
I orgasmed quickly with Kushi and was actually amazed that it happened so intensely. The bendy tip is On Point and feels incredibly good; this allows you to stimulate the vulva bit by bit and linger a little at your most explosive areas. All the power seemed to be concentrated there, so my hand on the body did not resonate, but I benefited from the lamella play. The mirror did the rest, and my whole body shuddered with pleasure. “I loved it!” I loved it so much that I took Kushi in the tub the next morning and climaxed there within a few minutes, just from the vibrating tip. Wow, Kushi you really surprised me in a positive way. And as I write here, I’m overcome with the urge to go for another round.
Kushi completely exceeded my expectations. I’ve photographed it, examined it from all angles, felt it, and perceived it as a cute yet appealing design. But gee, this vibrator gives incredible climaxes, and I haven’t even discovered its full potential yet. One thing is for sure; It convinced me and got me hooked. I can’t wait to combine it with other toys and a partner.

Final thoughts
Rarely has a product convinced me as much as the Kushi from Iroha. Even if the keys are visually a thorn in the eye and the overall picture thus appears somewhat less valuable, it got it functionally. Not to mention, the rest of the design is just incredibly soft and feels exceptionally good. I had a few concerns about the lamella texture and cleaning, but Kushi can keep up there as well, proving to be easy to clean. The vibrations are relatively quiet compared to other sex toys, yet powerful, the operation is super intuitive, charging is straightforward with the accompanying charging station, and the waterproof texture adds more variety. The aesthetically pleasing shell-shaped appearance also makes it suitable for lusty days by the sea.
I recommend the Kushi vibrator if you want to discover new sensations, value high-quality material processing and exciting texture, and are looking for a suitable sex toy to interact with your partner. Because I see potential there too. Kushi is discreet, can be easily pushed in between due to its size, and provides visually enormous pleasure.
